ASICS sizing explained for Indian buyers. Men's UK = US minus 1, women's UK = US minus 2, full UK/US/EU/CM conversion tables, and how to measure your foot before ordering.
For ASICS men's shoes, UK = US minus 1. A US 10 is a UK 9. For women's shoes it is UK = US minus 2. Applying the men's rule to a women's shoe puts you a full size out, which is the most common sizing mistake we see.
Indian retail is inconsistent. Some sellers list US sizes, some UK, some print both on the box and neither in the listing. ASICS boxes usually show US, UK, EU and CM together, but marketplace listings often show only one and do not always say which.
We list everything in UK sizes, matching Amazon India's convention for footwear, so a UK 9 here is a UK 9 there.

Women's ASICS run on a different scale. The gap is two sizes, not one. A women's US 8 is a UK 6, where a men's US 8 is a UK 7.

Women's ASICS style codes generally begin 1012. Men's and unisex begin 1011, 1013, 1041, 1071, 1111 or 1113. If a listing shows the style code, that tells you which chart applies.
UK and US conversions are consistent, but brands cut differently. Centimetres are the only measurement that does not lie.
Cricket spikes are cut narrower and more securely than running shoes, because lateral stability through the delivery stride matters more than toe splay. If you are between sizes and plan to bowl, take the larger size. A foot sliding forward inside a spike on landing is how toenails are lost.
For fielding rubbers worn all day, prioritise width and comfort over lockdown.
We do not accept returns for sizing, so it is worth being certain. Measure in centimetres, check the table, and if you are between sizes or unsure about a model, message us. We will check that shoe's fit and answer honestly. We would rather answer a question than ship a pair you cannot wear.
For men's and unisex ASICS, UK 9 equals US 10, one full size up. For women's ASICS, UK 9 equals US 11, because the women's gap is two sizes rather than one.
Yes, ASICS are generally true to size. The confusion is almost never the shoe itself, it is US versus UK labelling, and applying the men's conversion to a women's shoe.
If you are between sizes and intend to bowl, yes. Cricket spikes are cut narrow for lateral stability and the foot slides forward on landing. For fielding rubbers worn all day, comfort and width matter more.
Stand on paper with your heel to a wall, late in the day. Mark your longest toe, measure heel to mark in centimetres, and do both feet. Add 0.5 to 1.0cm for running or cricket, then match to the CM column in the chart.
